about glo spa

In addition to the most pampering spa treatments, glo offers amenities which rival a five-star hotel, including steam room, infrared sauna, guided meditation O2 chair, a gorgeous retail shop and a heart-soaring view of the Catskill Mountains that clients can enjoy in all seasons.

It has been said that there is something magical about Woodstock, one of the most famous small towns in the world, and the namesake of the three-day concert that literally changed the course of history during the fabled Summer Of Love in 1969. Born out of pure love and fierce determination itself, glo has definitely gleaned some of that mystical power still felt in this mountain town.

Debbie Dougan

Local Woodstocker Debbie Dougan has been a practicing aesthetician for over 10 years, launching glo in a private home setting, before expanding her business with partner Linda Dubilier. In addition to the “feel good, look good" boost she provides to her clients, Debbie is married to Peter (musician and long-time beloved school teacher), with whom she has raised three children and is the founder of Women Empowering Women, a community-based women’s think tank and business association, serving nearly 1,000 members in the Hudson Valley.

Debbie’s dream – to take glo to the next level – was realized when this well-loved spa space suddenly became a real estate “yes”. With Linda’s enthusiasm as her “spa sister,” Debbie quickly realized that some dreams do indeed come true.

Linda Dubilier

Hudson Valley local Linda Dubilier served for many years as a staff photographer for Vogue, shooting the latest trends and fashion for the magazine, along with creating editorial work for W, Elle and Harper's Bazaar. Additionally, Linda spent over 10 years capturing joyfully gorgeous images as a much in-demand wedding photographer in NYC, before relocating to the Catskills with husband Bill (philanthropist and board member of Creative Music Studio) and their family.

It was this move from Manhattan, she says, that began with a desire to give their children a deeper connection to  nature, but also inspired Linda to tap into her more creative side, including this partnership with Debbie, and grew glo to the beautifully tranquil and sumptuous spa it is today.
